“I have gained a lot of knowledge, my interest and love for math has grown even further, and I no longer can look at a problem in just a single way. The course was very engaging along with quizzes and the tutorials forced me to revise continuously and therefore imbibed the concepts deeper in my mind. Solving questions in the breakout rooms was definitely a lot of fun, since it allowed us to engage with our peers. IB math is not just rigorous solving, problems differ a lot from each other. Modelling is a very important part of the IB curriculum and the knowledge is way more extensive.”

“Overall, I feel the most positive impact it had on me was the actual conceptual learning that occurred. The resources we used (textbooks, homeworks, etc) as well as the teachers available to us were phenomenal. IBDP has many more types of unseen questions and we learnt how to master concepts and your working needs to be as clear as the answer itself in IBDP math. Tutorials were a great way of revising what we’d done on a weekly basis and for revisiting concepts which may have originally been tricky. Quizzes during class were a fun and interactive way to consolidate the progress we’d made. I have taken away many new learnings and extended my knowledge of concepts which I’d studied in the past. ”

“The course was very helpful. The  highlight of the course for me was framing the research question and citing sources. Miss Chrisann was an excellent teacher and was able to clearly explain all the concepts. The activities she planned were a lot of fun and very engaging. I felt really good writing and presenting my own paper. The new skills I learned through the course which is going to be very helpful for my further IB studies include how to write the TOK, IA and EE papers.”
