CourseLeap Plus or CLP is our specialized department of academics in sciences, arts, humanities, and languages.CLP is led by our founder Yogesh Dhingra who brings together a faculty of expert teachers, examiners and workshop leaders committed to delivering excellence and staying at the forefront of global assessment updates and technologies. Our unique course syllabus and delivery has been developed through years of teaching experience and a deep understanding of where students need guidance most to succeed.

Since 2016 Courseleap has pioneered curriculum bridging courses such as the Pre-IB, High School Accelerators, as well as University Courses that prepare students for university and beyond. Similar to our math department CLM, our faculty is trained across curricula from IB, Cambridge, Edexcel and American Core and more. Personalised instruction, baseline testing, progress tracking, regular homework, mock exams, and premium resources remain a mainstay of our approach. We provide dedicated support for research: IB Internal Assessments, EE Extended Essay, TOK Theory of Knowledge, Cambridge coursework, EPQ etc. Finally, we also work hand-in-hand with schools to design curricula that foster critical thinking and academic excellence.

Personalised Tutorials: IB Non-Math

This course offers personalised one-on-one learning plans, to cater to students’ study goals for subjects in the IBDP, with experienced faculty providing engaging, immersive and intensive teaching in customised programs for full-term or short-term durations, in order for students to achieve a high predicted grade and meet university conditional offers.

Mid-IB Non-Math Courses

These courses are designed for students who want to develop a broad skill set and maximise chances of top grade performance during their crucial first semester of Grade 12. It will ensure a highly productive summer and give them a head start in their final year of IBDP, teach them efficient problem-solving methods and learn techniques employed in Internal Assessments.

Mid-IB TOK: Guidance for TOK Exhibition

The course aims to prepare students for their TOK Exhibition by teaching them the commentary style of writing for their exhibition, exploring prompts and relating them to real-life objects and themes, practising writing with scaffolds and also covers virtual presentation formats.

Mid-IB TOK: Guidance for TOK Essay

This course is designed to provide a systematic approach to the final TOK essay, which includes exploring titles, recommendations on the best possible AOKs to use, suggestions for examples and a deep dive into the assessment criteria and examiner expectations.

IBDP Exam Revision Courses

This course offers a robust understanding of the IBDP subject, and focuses on commonly made errors, corrective strategies, doubt resolution and assessment patterns, with meaningful feedback provided to students. We plan a very thorough and focused plan based on a baseline assessment that identifies student-specific needs for the best performance, predicted grades and university conditional offers.

IBDP: Mastering Internal Assessment

This course aims to improve students’ understanding of the IA criteria and application concepts by using the best examples, presenting their IA proposal and receiving feedback from our instructors. They will develop the required academic writing skills while learning how to devise and implement effective research methodology.

IBDP: Extended Essay Guidance

This course offers guidance on independent research for a topic chosen from the list of available Diploma Programme subjects, in alignment with the criteria of Extended Essay. (and training for the best research piece. Students will develop the required academic writing skills while learning how to devise and implement effective research methodology.

MYP Summer Bridge Courses

This course focuses on helping students appreciate the subjects on a deeper level, reasoning, problem-solving and analytical skills in a variety of contexts. It will help students build competency, confidence and fluency in students’ subject understanding. It will also familiarise them with criteria-based understanding and how to respond to command terms in MYP assessment patterns.

IGCSE Summer Bridge Courses

This course is designed to prepare students for the demands of IGCSE studies. Students will review key concepts from lower grades, develop their critical thinking skills, and learn study strategies to succeed in IGCSE. The course will also introduce them to the format of IGCSE exams and build their confidence to tackle higher level studies.

Pre A-Level Courses

This course is designed to prepare students for the rigorous demands of A-level studies and help them acquire prior learning for the first term syllabus. Students will develop subject-specific knowledge, critical thinking, and analytical skills. The course will cover key concepts and provide practical experience while teaching effective study strategies to succeed in their exams.

Pre-IB Introduction to IB Core (TOK, EE, CAS)

This course prepares students for the interdisciplinary skills needed to excel in the core of the IB Diploma Programme, which includes critical reading, writing, research, and reflection skills that are valuable for individual subjects and internal assessments.

Pre-IB English

This course will help students develop their textual analysis and essay writing skills, become more independent in their analysis, and use relevant terminology, preparing them for the IBDP Literature and Language A or Literature A courses.

Pre-IB Economics

This course introduces economics using a concept-based approach to develop analytical thinking skills and enable students to apply economic theories to real-world situations with more confidence. They will also develop the skills and abilities required for constructing a well-written Internal Assessment.

Pre-IB Computer Science

This course aims to provide students with a solid foundation in the fundamental concepts of computational thinking and programming, which are essential for success in the IB Diploma Programme.It is especially effective for students who have not taken the subject before.

Pre-IB Chemistry

This course is designed to prepare students for IBDP Chemistry. Students will develop their subject knowledge, learn laboratory techniques, and develop critical thinking and analytical skills. The course will cover key concepts such as stoichiometry, chemical bonding, and energetics to ensure students are well-equipped to succeed in the IB Chemistry program.

Pre-IB Spanish Ab Initio

This course will give students a head start into the Spanish language and prepare them to understand and follow the criteria used for evaluating the Internal and External Assessments that they will face in the IBDP.

Advanced Placement

AP English

This course will help students develop advanced reading and analytical skills through the study of literary works from various genres, time periods, and cultures. It will also foster critical thinking and effective communication skills through the development of strong writing skills, including analysis, argumentation, and synthesis.

AP Biology

This course provides a comprehensive understanding of biological concepts including cell structure, genetics, evolution, ecology, and physiology. It will help develop critical thinking skills such as describing and analysing data, evaluating scientific evidence, argumentation and applying concepts to new situations, to prepare students for the AP Biology exam.

AP Physics (Electricity & Magnetism)

This course covers fundamental concepts in electricity and magnetism including electric fields, electric potential, capacitance, magnetism, and electromagnetic induction. It will help develop skills like determining the physical changes on an object when another object or the environment changes, and problem-solving through practice with mathematical calculations, modelling, and analysis of real-world scenarios, to prepare students for the exam format.

AP Physics (Mechanics)

This course covers fundamental concepts in mechanics including kinematics, Newton’s laws of motion, work, energy, and momentum. Students will develop problem-solving skills through practice with mathematical calculations, modelling, and analysis of real-world scenarios. Preparation for the final exam includes familiarity with the exam format, test-taking strategies, and a review of key content areas.

AP Environmental Science

This course covers fundamental concepts in environmental science including ecology, biodiversity, natural resources, and human impacts on the environment. Students will develop critical thinking skills, such as analysing environmental problems, evaluating solutions, and applying scientific principles to real-world issues in preparation for the final exam.

AP Computer Science

This course covers the foundation of computer science concepts including programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and computer systems. Students will develop essential skills through programming exercises, code implementation, documentation, debugging, and analysis of complex problems. Additionally, it also provides opportunities for creative expression and innovation in computer science through project-based learning and exploration of cutting-edge technologies.

AP Human Geography

This course covers fundamental concepts in human geography including population, migration, culture, political geography, economic geography, and urbanisation. Students will develop essential skills like analysing spatial relationships and geographic theories, evaluating social processes, and applying geographic perspectives to real-world issues. They will also learn to connect human geography concepts and issues to their local and global communities.

AP Microeconomics

This course covers fundamental microeconomic concepts including supply and demand, market structures, consumer behaviour, production and costs, and market failures. Students will develop skills like analysing economic data, evaluating economic policies, and applying economic principles to real-world scenarios. It will also emphasise hands-on learning experiences like simulations and case studies to deepen understanding of microeconomic concepts and their practical applications.

AP Macroeconomics

This course covers fundamental macroeconomic concepts including economic growth, inflation, unemployment, fiscal policy, monetary policy, and international trade. AP Psychology

This course covers fundamental concepts in psychology including biological bases of behaviour, cognitive processes, developmental psychology, personality, social psychology, and psychological disorders. It helps students develop critical thinking skills, such as evaluating research methods, connecting psychological concepts and theories to real-life scenarios, analysing experimental designs, and applying psychological theories to real-world issues.

High School Accelerator Courses

English: Written Communication Read Interpret Analyse & Articulate (Level 1)

This course will enable students to analyse texts by examining the elements that make it effective, while also developing their writing abilities through learning different styles and honing their grammar, vocabulary, and creative writing skills. In addition, students will also acquire skills that will help in reading analysis and oral presentations.

English: Written Communication Read Interpret Analyse & Articulate (Level 2)

This course aims to develop students’ writing skills by teaching them how to structure paragraphs and essays, analysing comparative poetry and advanced prose, and honing their abilities to write for an explanation, description, and extended pieces, while exposing them to Shakespeare and providing opportunities to improve their oral presentation skills.

Public Speaking

The course enhances public speaking skills by teaching effective content, structure, and delivery of speeches, covering both writing and performance aspects, including body language, voice, gesture, and audience engagement, in order to deliver presentations with strength, poise, and confidence.

Information Literacy, Research & Critical Thinking

This course provides students with an immersive experience in academic research and writing, promoting intellectual confidence and independence of thought, while encouraging critical engagement with different perspectives. Lessons are scaffolded, progressing from basic knowledge to deep understanding through fun, and engaging tasks. Students will complete a well-informed presentation and well-written essay, showcasing their interest and attention to detail.

Academic Research and Writing Skills

This course takes students on a journey through research and planning processes which provide the essential foundations for building good essays for high school and university. It will engage them in short, accessible skill-building tasks which will help equip them to approach and develop those skills according to best academic practice and with greater confidence.
